Sawayaka Bijin

Sawayaka Bijin is a unique Japanese bath-shower appliance which consists of a small stainless steel cylindrical tank and, connected to it, a shower head.

With the help of a inlet tube, water under normal hydraulic pressure is introduced into the lower part of the appliance. A valve located on top of Sawayaka Bijin regulates the influx of air. Inside the tank is a patented nano and microbubble generator which creates many millions of ultra-tiny milky-coloured air-filled bubbles of various diameters, from 0.02 mm to as small as even 0.000005 mm.

How Sawayaka Bijin works

The process of generating nano and microbubbles with Sawayaka Bijin lasts about 15-20 minutes, depending on the pressure of the water which is introduced into the tank.
This milky-coloured water, which is soft, even velvet to the touch, can also be acheived in the bathtub with Sawayaka Bijin, by placing the shower head on the bottom of a partially-filled bathtub. After 20 minutes, if you would like to repeat the microbubble bath experience, the top of the tank must first be aired, then emptied of water by unscrewing and taking off the shower's inlet tube. Next, the air valve must be closed again, the shower reconnected to the tank, at which point, water can once again be introduced. It's so simple!
